Glassworks is a GIS platform used to model and manage Meta’s global fiber infrastructure — from individual conduits and handholes to terrestrial and subsea network routes worldwide.

I migrated core backend services from Go to Rust, improving performance and modernizing a critical part of the system architecture. I also diagnosed and resolved issues across a large, high-complexity codebase, unblocking engineering workflows and contributing feature work to a team of over a dozen engineers.

Glassworks is only available to Meta employees.
